In January I got the chance to get wet! Chris' mom watched Kyle for me all day as I zipped over to Kona for a great day of diving with Dive Makai! Unfortunately Chris could not make it, but when I got to the boat I was surprised to tears when Amy Fine pulled up! We worked together for YEARS and she was with me through out my start. We also were joined by old time customers/friends Pat & Paul Anderson and Jim Scott! The day was prefect-flat water, awesome dives. We saw everything: flame angels, long-nose hawkfish on black coral bush, tinker butterflies, bandit angels, devil nohu, snowflake moray, bat triggers, schooling banner butterflies, flame wrasses, bi-color anthias, leaf scorpion to harlequin shrimp, red rock crab, banded coral shrimp, tiger cowry, numerous flatworms and nudibranchs and eels..........dolphins in the morning and a WHALE on the way home! I am sure I am forgetting some cool critters, but you get the picture. It was an awesome day! I even got a few OK pictures (nothing spectacular) despite not using my camera and housing for a year. Muchas gracias to Mike & Kimberly, Tom & the DMC crew! (and Mom & Chris for watching Kyle)........
