With New Year's Eve
came another wonderful feast and Wes &
Monica's and lots and lots of fireworks! Kyle took a few minutes to warm up to the loud, fiery and smoky fun that is a legal and local tradition here in Hawaii but once he got used to it he had a great time-even lighting his own with the help of Uncle Wes. His favorite was the little poppers that you throw on the
ground. He never tried to eat them and seemed to enjoy being allowed to throw handfuls and stomp on them to make them pop! New Years Day found us SO beat that all we could do that day was sleep and hang out in the yard playing with a sprinkler mat Grandpa Tom gave Kyle for Christmas!
